Hi! I’m Jill Cepela, AMFT

I believe that relationships are the foundation of our emotional well-being.

That’s why I’m committed to helping you improve the quality and closeness of your relationship. I’ve seen first-hand how impactful it can be to break out of old patterns and create a loving, deep connection.

My goal is to empower you with an awareness of what’s going on below the surface, so you can better meet each other’s needs. In online couples counseling, you’ll be met with a warm, compassionate, and directive therapy style to guide you towards change.

My Approach

I use a highly effective therapeutic approach called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps couples break out of destructive cycles and create a stronger, more loving connection. EFT is grounded in attachment science, which highlights our very human need for safety and connection. Through online couples therapy, you’ll have a safe space where you can slow things down, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationship, and break free of what’s no longer serving you.

With my advanced training in EFT and under the supervision of Certified EFT Supervisor Stephanie Saari, LMFT, you’ll receive a high quality of effective couples therapy.

It’s a big step to reach out for support.

Let’s face it: starting couples therapy can feel scary. But one thing that’s scarier is continuing down this path of miscommunication and disconnection.

One of the most common mistakes made in couples therapy is waiting too long to start. But putting off help only leads to unnecessary suffering and more work in the long run.

Whether you’re starting to feel stuck or you’re at your breaking point, I’m here to support you.
